Shepherd's Hill Academy Thanks Community for 20 Years

Lane N TaylorMarketing Contractor, Shepherds Hill Academy

Martin, GA — Shepherd’s Hill Academy would like to extend a personal thank you to the wonderful communities of Stephens, Franklin, Hart, Habersham Counties, and beyond for making our 20-year celebration a huge success!
“From the bottom of our hearts, Thank You! It was such a humbling and encouraging day for us at SHA as we opened our doors to our partners and friends. We could not exist and serve the families that we do without your continued prayer and support.”
August was a whirlwind for the team at Shepherd’s Hill Academy. As the program looks back on the 20-year celebration, it is with joy and great expectation for what is ahead. The celebration was historic for Shepherd’s Hill Academy in several ways. Beyond marking two-decades of service, the program hosted the largest event open to public in program history with nearly 200 people in attendance.
The leadership explained, “SHA's 20th Anniversary is a milestone many programs within our industry have not been able to achieve. The journey to twenty years could only have been achieved through the people God has called to serve this ministry. During the weekend's event we were able to reunite with some of the heroes of SHA's history. It was a blessing.”
Some of the current SHA heroes that made this event a success were team members Aimee, Joshua Temple, Elise and Zach Thrift, Jordan Parsons, Caleb Brown, Caleb Trice, Wolfie, Brittany Spier, Martina Langdon, Matt Unger and Jeremiah Hudson.
Our community also showed up ready for a wonderful day of fun including corn hole, jump houses/water slides, and of course, flag football! One of the highlights of the event was the flag football tournament. After a long-fought battle, Ebenezer won the 1st annual SHA Bowl Flag Football game, beating the second-place team from the Pointe.
Shepherd’s Hill Academy would also like to thank those who partnered together to make the event a success. A special thank you to all of our vendors and our local Chamber of Commerce organizations for helping us plan, promote, and for making our day so special for our team and guests!
The team at Shepherd’s Hill Academy would like to extend invitation to those who may have missed the event (or those who were not able to tour the program) to join us on campus for an exclusive behind the scenes tour. Private tours can be scheduled at your convenience with our Advancement Coordinator. Please call (706) 779-5766 to schedule.
